KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 — The number of new Covid-19 cases in the 39th Epidemiological Week (epi week) from September 25 to October 1 dropped 5.2 per cent to 12,291 from 12,963 cases during the previous week (from September 18 to September 24), said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 — The number of new Covid-19 infections in the country for the 26th Epidemiological Week (ME 26), from June 26 to July 2, increased by 6.1 per cent to 16,694 cases from 15,739 cases in the previous week (ME 25).

KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 — The number of new Covid-19 infections in the country for the 25th Epidemiology Week (ME 25) which began from June 19 to June 25 saw a 10.9 per cent increase to 15,739 cases compared to 14,195 cases the week before.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — Malaysia has recorded a 27.9 per cent increase in the number of new Covid-19 cases for the 24th epidemiological week (ME 24), from June 12 to June 18, to 14,195 cases compared with 11,096 cases reported in the previous week (ME 23).

KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 — The number of new Covid-19 infections in the country for the 21st Epidemiology Week (ME 21) which began from May 22 to 28 saw a fall of 4.1 per cent to 13,076 cases compared to 13,630 cases the week before (ME 20).

PUTRAJAYA, May 2 — A Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) with a capacity of 20 beds has been opened at the Putrajaya Hospital (HPJ) and the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang Hospital (HTAR) as part of preparations to face any possible surge in Covid-19 cases.
